What we collect, and what we do with it

Nothing at all until you fill in a form. There is no account to create and no tracking profile built as you browse.

When you send a quote request or use Get Service Now, we receive the name, phone number, email address and service address you type, the service you chose, and anything you write in the description. We also record the page you were on and the time you sent it, so we can tell which enquiry is which.

To answer you. A phone number and an address are what let a Canyon technician call you back and find the house. We do not sell this information, we do not share it with anyone outside Canyon, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Your enquiry is saved in Canyon's records, which are held in Canada, and emailed to the Canyon staff who handle that kind of work. Those two things happen within seconds of you pressing send.

Only Canyon staff and Orchestrator, the company that builds and maintains this website, can reach those records. Orchestrator uses that access to keep the site working, not for any purpose of its own.

An enquiry is kept while it is being dealt with and afterwards as part of the record of work Canyon has quoted or carried out. Ask us and we will tell you what we still hold about you.

The Showroom page shows a Google map and a Matterport tour of the showroom. The homepage shows Canyon's Google rating and reviews. Those are loaded from Google and Matterport, and they can see that a browser requested them, in the same way any website with a map on it can.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers.

You can ask what Canyon holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@canyonplumbing.com or call (403) 258-1505. We will answer within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can raise it with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
